I don’t think all men are like this though – there are bound to be some exceptions to this – even some people who actually fall in love with each other and their age doesn’t come into it. This is a current issue for me, male, separated and 50. I don’t know when it happened, but I rarely see any woman 40 and up that I find that physically attractive anymore. But I did not plan or want to go younger. Women dating younger men should be careful. Eventually some biological switch will go off in them, and they will suddenly see the woman as too old for them.

Sure, they can date younger women, but many chose to date those closer to their age. I feel generalization is never accurate. Don’t know where the stats are from but I have to disagree with the stats.
I really crave the connection and affection I have been without for too many years now. Especially if you not in the “loop” or don’t drink anymore, especially for guys over 50. Most are either married or say they have a boyfriend. I was married for 24 years and had plenty of girlfriends before then.
